Division II Compliance
Division II expects its members to comply fully with the legislation and policy the membership adopts, and it offers many resources to help administrators and coaches at Division II schools meet these high standards.
Division II considers compliance to be a teamwork approach in which all members of the athletics department and other personnel across campus who are associated with athletics to conduct the program with the highest levels of integrity and fairness.
To support this commitment, Division II recently increased its expectations when its members adopted a new policy requiring compliance officers to be devoted full-time to compliance duties. In other words, compliance officers at DII schools can’t also have coaching or other responsibilities at the school.
